Over the years, what do you think about Vietnam's cocoa products in general and Dong Nai in particular? What factors make you choose cocoa producers in Dong Nai to cooperate?

- I have 40 years of experience in the field of confectionery production and trading in Japan and other countries in the world. We have used a lot of chocolate processing materials from world famous cocoa countries. I myself spent 8 years to learn about the Vietnamese cocoa market, including Dong Nai cocoa, and decided to cooperate with Trong Duc Cocoa Co., Ltd. Perhaps due to the soil and especially the fermentation technique of cocoa beans of the enterprise, the cocoa beans of Dong Nai have their own characteristics that are very fragrant, sour, less bitter ... are the factors that make the type Chocolate eating does not cause boredom. Therefore, I am very confident about the quality of this unique product.

- Chocolate flavor can be changed thanks to raw material origin, from cultivation to fermentation of cocoa beans. When giving chocolate products made from Dong Nai cocoa beans to Japanese consumers, they try and return to order again. This is also a good signal for us to invest in developing a new product line in this market. Since before, most of Japanese chocolate processing materials are imported from Europe in the form of semi-processed products, such as: importing flour, butter ...

We are building our own store chain of Bintube product line, which means the product is processed from grain to chocolate bar. We currently have only a few stores, but in the near future we will open more stores in shopping centers that only sell this new product line. This is a high quality and very high quality chocolate product line. Enterprises are also very confident that they can compete with quality and taste, not cheap.

He and his partner are implementing a program to sell fresh cocoa trees, designing tours to the garden to visit the process of harvesting and processing chocolate ... Why is there a unique business idea?

- Although the country consumes a lot of chocolate, Japanese people hardly know how cocoa trees are. After I processed products from Vietnamese cocoa beans for Japanese consumers to enjoy, they were very interested in this product. It is the consumer who orders us to buy cocoa in one year. They pay for the care manager according to the organic production process; update images, flowering process, fruit for visitors to follow. Tourists will book tour to the garden, go to the factory to witness the harvested pods themselves, and recruit the best quality cocoa beans as raw materials for processing chocolates by hand.

This is a pure product line, using pure natural ingredients, not flavoring or other additives, so it is very popular with chocolate connoisseurs. We not only produce but also provide our customers with garden tour services, which contribute to increasing the value of agricultural production, adding benefits to farmers. This is a very interesting new program that attracts many interested customers. Although it has just been deployed, there are nearly 300 Japanese customers ordering cocoa trees at the garden.

How is Dong Nai's plan to boost exports of chocolate and cocoa products in the near future?

- Previously, the world often knew about South American and African cocoa, but did not know many cocoa products in Asia, including Vietnam. I have established a new company in Singapore with the aim of promoting and promoting chocolate and Vietnamese cocoa products to the world market. We tested and introduced 6 new product categories, including: cocoa nipf, white chocolate, green tea chocolate ... and connected the export of chocolate tons to the Korean market. We will develop in parallel both Japanese and world markets. The strong and different product lines that we focus on are still handmade chocolate products made from seeds; and continue to exploit and find new products from cocoa. In addition, the existing products of Trong Duc, such as wine, cocoa powder ... are also good products that can be exploited and exported.
