Up to now, the province has 11 trademarks registered for protection, such as: Tan Trieu pomelo, Long Khanh durian, Xuan Loc pepper ... The program continues to support many units in the province. registration of intellectual property protection, such as: Thong Nhat vegetables, Cam My custard apple, Xuan Hung mango (Xuan Loc district) ... In which, the registered units will be supported 50% of the real cost. show.

Currently, Dong Nai has about 48,000 ha of fruit trees; In particular, many fruits of Dong Nai are considered specialties, such as rambutan, durian, grapefruit, tangerine, mango, jackfruit, avocado ... with an output of more than 500,000 tons / year. At the same time, the province has also formed many areas of high-efficiency fruit production such as mango production area in Xuan Hung commune (Xuan Loc district) and La Nga commune (Dinh Quan district); Tan Trieu pomelo, Long Khanh rambutan ... annually supply thousands of tons of clean fruit to the market.  

Ms. Nguyen Thi Cat Tien, Vice Chairman of Xuan Loc District People's Committee, shared: “The district will support cooperatives, clubs to register trademarks and geographical indications for fruits and agriculture. products with local advantages. Thus will protect intellectual property for farmers and increase competitiveness for fruits and agricultural products ”. To date, Xuan Loc district has built a trademark and registered and was granted a trademark certificate for Xuan Loc and Suoi Lon mango. This will be red flesh dragon fruit, durian, coffee will be supported by the district to build the brand.

Forming a large intensive farming field  

According to the provincial agricultural production development plan to 2020, vision to 2030, the province has a large field plan for 19 crops, such as coffee, pepper, rubber, pomelo, banana, durian .. The province also offers many preferential policies to support this model to attract businesses and farmers to participate.

Recently, the provincial People's Committee also approved 3 large field projects linking production and consumption, including: a large field project linking cashew trees in An Vien commune (Trang Bom district); large field of cocoa trees in districts of Thong Nhat, Dinh Quan and Tan Phu; Large sugarcane field project in Vinh Cuu district. In particular, two projects with sugarcane and cocoa   trees   are underway. Specifically, Trong Duc Cocoa Co., Ltd (Dinh Quan district) has mobilized 114 households to participate in new planting with an area of ​​nearly 34 ha. Bien Hoa Sugar Plant has supplied seeds, dredged 409 m of canals for irrigation and drainage for farmers to plant 61 ha of sugarcane in Hamlet 1, Tri An Commune (Vinh Cuu District).

In addition, DARD has collaborated with the Department of Science and Technology to promote the application of scientific and technological advances in production, research and production of crop sprays to have high productivity and avoid pests; invest in post-harvest technology to limit losses, increase profits for farmers, and support cooperatives and cooperative groups to expand areas and cooperate with enterprises to invest and cover product.
