Large field project linking production and consumption of cocoa products in Thong Nhat, Dinh Quan and Tan Phu districts, Dong Nai province. With the goal of expanding the scale of raw material areas by 2021 to 830 hectares with about 800 participating farmers.

As a result of implementation to date, Trong Duc Cocoa Co., Ltd. has proactively provided standard cocoa varieties to farmers in raw material areas to serve new plantings with a total area of 313.4 hectares, of which development The large field project area reaches 242 hectares, including: Tan Phu (65 hectares); Dinh Quan (87.3 hectares); Thong Nhat (89.7 hectares). Of these, 175.7 hectares of 182 households are certified according to UTZ standards.

In addition to the areas implementing large field projects, Trong Duc Cocoa Co., Ltd. has proactively organized replication of the model in the districts of Trang Bom and Xuan Loc with a total new planting area in these districts of 71.7 hectares (of which Trang Bom is 35.2 hectares and Xuan Loc is 36.2 hectares).

Along with developing the cocoa area in the area, Trong Duc Company has boldly invested in developing new seed production with an area of 1.4 hectares. At the same time, researched, developed and marketed 11 certified varieties including: TD 1, TD 2, TD 3, TD 5, TD 6, TD 7, TD 8, TD 9, TD 10, TD 12 and TD 14 with total production output estimated at 300,000 trees/year.

To date, Trong Duc Company has coordinated with farmer representative organizations and a number of related units to organize 29 focused training classes for farmers, including 24 classes in large field project areas. and 5 classes outside the project area, with a total of 1,212 farmers trained. At the same time, coordinate with the Swiss Ecom Group to build a Cocoa development center to support cultivation and preliminary processing techniques for cocoa farmers in Dong Nai and sign a contract with Con Fertilizer Group. Co Vang provided 67,750 kg of fertilizer to farmers participating in the project.

- Production results in the large field project area: The average productivity of the large field project reaches 25 tons/ha. Total production cost per hectare in the project area is 19.89 million VND/ha; outside the project area is 20,136 million VND/ha. The average profit of farmers participating in the project reached 130,011 million VND/ha/year.

In addition, Trong Duc Company signed a contract to link production and consumption of cocoa products with 400 farmer households under a large field project. At the same time, the Company implemented a policy to support farmers under the 6,000 cocoa development program (purchased at a price of 6,000 VND) and signed a contract to implement this program with 173 farmer households throughout Dong Nai province. including: Tan Phu (52); Dinh Quan (46); Thong Nhat (54); Xuan Loc (28); Trang Bom (33). To date, this unit has distributed all the products of farmers participating in the project with a total volume of 1,722,659 kg of fresh cocoa beans to farmers with prices fluctuating from time to time from 5,000-6,500 VND/month. kg.

For each type of product, the Company invests in modern, suitable equipment to serve the production of this enterprise's products, specifically:

- Wine production includes: RO water treatment system, hot steam system, refrigeration compressor system, cooking system and extraction system.

- Cocoa powder production includes: Refinement machine, butter press, powder crusher, rolling machine and rail machine.

- Chocolate production includes: bean guillotine machine, mixer, crusher and hot and cold machine.
